I’ve recently installed a RX 6750 XT into my system. Everytime I open a game my screen goes black and will not come back until I close the game and turn the monitor off and back on. I have tried reinstalling the drivers, updating the bios, Reseating the card and nothing seems to work. I know the card is still working because I’m adrenaline I can see it’s still drawing power and being utilised, does anybody know what this issue is and how I can fix it?

My Specs:

Gigabyte B450m Rev 1 gaming m-Atx

ryzen 5 3500x

16gb crucial ddr4 2666mhz

XFX 6750xt Qick 319

Gigabyte 550w Psu

kingston 500gb M.2

Crucial 1Tb 2.5” ssd

I may be having a similar issue, can I ask what OS, and the games/ launcher you're running off?

Windows 11 64bit newest update, Anything on steam, Riot and Minecraft will not work yet Fortnite seems to be perfectly capable of running

Ok, I have a suggestion for you since it seemed to work for me.

I ended up rolling back a Windows Update: KB5046633. It seems screen blackouts are common with the update after I did some research. After a restart, the monitor started flickering so I uninstalled my monitors drivers through device manager and plugged it back in. Everything seems to be working well now.

Hope it helps 🙏
