Hey guys :) Alright, here's the gameplan. I am currently of 16 years of age, and about to finish school. During this summer I plan on getting a job and working towards saving up for a PC. I will be working all summer, so from ~June 20th to about September 5th~. I have been a long time lurker, and just recently made an account to post this very query. Enough babbling, to the PC needs we go.

I want this PC to be able to handle League of Legends. This is what it will mainly be used for, also plan on streaming over the summer. Right now I don't have to PC to stream+play league comfortably. I also want this PC quiet as the PC I currently have has a lot of ambient noise. I use OBS to stream, so a Intel processor would be nice. Apperence doesn't matter much to me, as long as this PC is quiet yet sits at a comfortable temperature. Also, I will be looking to upgrade my mouse/keyboard as well. A headset would be nice too. I don't know if this $1600 budget can handle the PC+Peripherals. If somehow you can fit a monitor in there as well, that would be nice :)

TLDR;

Location: Canada (Needs to be shipped to a P.O box)

Purpose: Streaming and playing League of Legends.

Peripherals: Mouse, keyboard, and headset please.

Monitor: If you can fit it in, yes please.

Restrictions: None.

I suck at making builds as I change my mind about them. But there are many who are very good at on here. I will just say a $1600 budget for everything to be able to play LOL is plenty and probably a little overkill. So anyone should be able to select some good parts within that budget.

Question when would you be buying this cause some parts may have to changed out as there will hopefully be some new parts released between now and the end of the summer

I plan on also getting into some CS:GO. I also have a few steam games that I would like to play but my PC can't handle them right now. Don't worry, it won't :)

yet again not very stressful it would be a waste try expanding games?

LOL is pretty easy to play on everything you know, even the onboard graphic (Intel HD 4000) on the MS Surface Pro 1 (one of my friend bought it just to LOL on the go) so 1600$ or even 1600 CAD is quite overkill since you can afford a really high end PC with that.

Something like this with ~ 1600 CAD will pretty much dominated any current game (aside from Watchdogs just because it's horribly optimized for PC...), including monitor and keyboard/mouse bundle

Please tell me you're going to play more than just LoL and CS:GO... At least install Crysis 3, The Witcher 2, or something! Just install them, you don't even have to play them! For the love that is gaming (and high performance PC components)!

Tell me about it....

I'm trying to scrape by with a $600 to $700 gaming build to play pretty much everything in the near future. I mean everything. Yes, that includes those bishoujo visual novels, CoD games, crappy rip offs from talentless indie developers, Cookie Clicker, Bastion, The Witcher 3, and emulated stuff if my PS2 and Wii die.

Well... haswell refresh and those GTX 800 series GPU for example? because of these kind of things it's best to ask for a build when you are about 1-2 weeks from buying it

@Giniw

I think that @Megazero 's build would work just fine for you :D But i'd change 780 to 290X, it should be more powerful than 780 :)

Mmm... I'd say the 290x and 780 is about the same performance wise. in Nvidia title 780 beat 290x and vice versa, so this is up to personal taste I guess :D?
