I could always get a bigger stand.

This is a 55” for for $500

https://www.costco.ca/hisense-55"-class---qd6n-series---4k-uhd-qled-lcd-tv.product.4000270468.html

Or there’s the LG 55” for only $50 more

eh the 3 50" above are better then that hisense and lg tu7000

and fyi im going off rtings website on their reviews if curious

because of price your going to have to go and look at the displays running. look at them straight on, from the sides, and determine which screen looks better to YOU. your really not going to find a bang for buck under a grand especially canadian dollars

Hey all,

I’m looking for some TV recommendations in the $300-$500 range for living room TV.

Main media hub for girlfriend and myself, our TV stand is 44” wide so as long as the base of the TV does not extend past that.

Prefer minimum two HDMI for Xbox One & Nintendo Switch.

Based in BC, Canada

I have Amazon Prime and or a Costco membership.

Girlfriends 43” 1080p Sharp w/ Roku she picked up 4-years ago has started flickering, power cycle, factory reset, new cable, no changes.

Thank you in advance

since you have costco you have 2 tv's there with your limited size and price range (plus costco has best warranty)
https://www.costco.ca/hisense-43"-class---a6kv-series---4k-uhd-led-tv.product.4000177060.html    4 hdmi 2.0 60hz

https://www.costco.ca/samsung-43"-class---du7100-series---4k-uhd-led-lcd-tv.product.4000267665.html 3 hdmi 2.1 but only 60hz

both are good for the price. your not going to get good features/ quality at that price point. you can go to costco and look at them they should have them on display

IF you can manage a 50" this one has a better screen then the above ones do

I had taken a look at that one online, it’s within my price range, always thought it’s better to get a proper brand name one that would last.

If I pumped a bit more money into it are there any outliers that you’d suggest?

your problem is size on top of price. more 50" options then 43" but even up to 1000 your limited.

43"

I really appreciate your help,

after looking at reviews and taking the lady to Costco she decided on the 55UT7570.

It’s got a 90-day return policy so if it ends up being crap, we’ll return it and keep looking.

Thank you again, take care.
