Rx7600 xt crashing

I just bought the Asrock rx7600 xt 16g steel legend. After installing, i ran a benchmark and everything was ok. But when starting any game on ultra or high it crashes, and changes my background to a black screen. I still have the task bar and can open items, but i am unable to right click on the screen I have changed the game settings down and I still have this problem. Any help would be appreciated

Did you change from an Nvidia GPU? If so, you should run DDU in Safe Mode to clear out the old drivers. They can sometimes cause conflicts that lead to unpredictable behavior.

I went from nvidea to amd I will use the dud tonight after work. Thank you

I also recommend installing a fresh Windows after installing a new GPU. This may be a hassle but you end up with a backup of your important files and a much more stable Windows.

Thank you to those you answered I have done all of the recommendations, but still had the same issue. What i found was that the GPU was OC out of the box, had to change the setting on it. This has fixed the issues as far as I can tell. Now it’s just fine tuning the numbers.
