Changing windows 7 boot config

You're not allowed to access it? or maybe its read-only and/or hidden?

How would i go about changing that? 

I never messed around in the boot config before, but it seems that you are accessing your harddisk. Try finding your original OS File in C:, think that'll fix it. If it doesnt work, beats me

seems silly but make sure you're an admin.  and as far as setting the number of cores to boot with, just keep it default, it'll already use the max number.  actually setting it to max doesnt do anything, tis a myth

Well i just did a fresh install and im having trouble getting all of the permissions to my HDD.. At first i couldn't open my HDD but now i can delete folders etc but i still have these annoying icons on the folders.

I meant your boot drive -_-" for me its games over OS, you, other way around :|

Yeah i know what you mean but im definitely the admin on my boot drive.

k, cant you change the directory? to the boot drives win7? it seems that your searching for a drive that did not exist in My Computer
