GameStop Graphics card?

I'm doing some shopping to upgrade my current desktop from a 4070 FE to either a 4080S or 4090. As I was browsing around, I noticed GameStop is selling the PNY 24GB 4090 for $1700 and was a little surprised by the price. Most computer tech shops sell any 4090 for around $1900 to $2k+. Is this risky to buy? It doesn't say anything about being refurbished and the exact same card is being sold by newegg for $2030

Your computer tech shops are taking the piss.
the base 4090 MSRP is 1600, and the fancier ones can be 1800ish

PNY is a really good brand.

Are they retail selling the card brand new? If so the product will be covered by warranty and I see no reason for skepticism

They are selling it retail brand new I believe. It doesn't say anything that would prove otherwise. "PNY GeForce RTX 4090 24GB XLR8 Gaming VERTO EPIC-X RGB Overclocked Triple Fan Graphics Card"

Is this online or in store? Just use a credit card and you will be reasonable safe.

Online only. I might take my chances as its the cheapest I can find the card for.
