Hey.

Wondering if anyone can recommend some relatively cheap red led strips to add some bling to the inside of my case, and ofcourse, make me an epic gamer

Hopefully something that's not too difficult to set up, as I'm not the best with electrics. Was going to get the nzxt hue, but realised I won't have any extra bays after getting a fan controller - plus the brightness isn't great.

Cheers

This sucks. What etailers in uk did you find them from? I'm British too but can't seem to find any. I need like 2x 30cm strips, or one long strip that can go around the perimeter of the inside of my case.

I think I'm going for the CM 690 iii case (not completely decided yet, want a nice good looking mid tower case with a window). £15-£20 for lights. I may leave them if they're pricey as I'll have a top 200mm led fan and a front 200mm led fan.

200mm fans get a little crappy unless they're of top notch quality. However they do prove useful for either channeling airflow or static pressure on radiator for example the ap182's look great although they don't have leds very great quality.

I was looking at the coolermaster megaflow 200mm's. What do you think about them? I don't want a bunch of 120mm's in a case because I only have 4 fan headers and I don't really want to go down the route of buying a fan controller (first time builder here).

Doesn't look too bad. I'd get a fan speed reducer like the ones that come pre-packaged with the Noctua fans,

Not sure what you mean. A fan controller sort of? I think I may just get a cheapish fan controller as I don't want my fans running at full speed all the time, any suggestions?

I don't really have knowledge of any good fans controllers..maybe the nzxt sentry 2/3/lx? I heard that is good. Cheapish fans aren't in my option good. I'd get 2-3/4fans that pretty good.

I'm planning on a 200m front and top, and a 120mm rear and bottom. 4 fans, coolermaster for the 200mm, and undecisive for the 120mm, something that goes with a black and red build. Might pick up a pair of corsair af120's and a nzxt sentry 2, although the cable clutter that comes with that controller bothers me

@Tazman192 The undecided 120mm could be a bitfenix spectre pro led?
