Random reboot/black screen

ThomasTheHippo

Hello,

Recently I upgraded my system, and now within 2 weeks I have experienced a random reboot while playing.

Description:
I play game,
Suddenly screen goes black,
Loss of Audio,
All USB devices lose power (rgb unlits)
Reboot menu appears,
Main Display not regaining image.

Force kill machine by holding the powerbutton and then system boots up again.

The parts in new PC:

Ryzen 3600
Asrock B450 Pro-4f
16GBx2 3200mhz
RX 6700XT
1HDD, 2SSDs
6 Fans,( 4RGB)
650W PSU Gold

Interesting notes:
If I remember, then in both times I was playing World of Warhips (I believe unrelated)
I also used linux as main OS for 2 weeks, yet in both occasions crash happened only on Windows 10/11 installations.

Steps taken:
Checking event viewer shows nothing as it seemingly wipes it's memory ~30min up to failure.
I have underclocked the card but it's too early to see anything.

I have checked PSU online calculators and all of them showed numbers below ~500W, so I don't really believe I have purchased a weak PSU.
What do you think.

I had a similar issue, just with a Nvidia GPU where it turned out being the PSU. Even when it was supposed to provide enough power.

Which specific PSU do you have?

I Bought the Seasonic G12 650W 80 Gold

Checked the PSU tier list, was in the B tier (compared to the previous one in F tier - even though it never failed me on old build)
