GPU causes reboots

Hi everyone,

 

I am looking for help and ideas.  I recently bought an XFX Speedster RX 6700 second hand but I cannot get it to run correctly.  When I place the GPU In my PC or the PC I am building for a friend it causes the PC to reboot or lock up on a blank screen and I cannot figure out why. 
 

My PC is running an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, a Seasonic 850w PSU and an MSI RX 6800 XT with the AMD Adrenaline software and I never have issue with my set up.  The new build is running an AMD Ryzen 5 5600x with a Corsair 750w power supply. I tried the new build with and without the AMD Adrenaline software. No matter which system the GPU is in it causes a reboot/lock up about 90-120 seconds after booting. 
 

I reached out to XFX and because it is second hand they just said to get a refund. If I can fix the card easily instead of returning it I’d like to do that.

first update your drivers

second check power connection for gpu

third check if gpu sag so much (this can make many weird problems)

and third check if there is a blown capacitor or something in gpu hope it works

Honestly, this sounds like there is something wrong with the graphics card. If you're able to get a refund, definitely go down that route ASAP before the return window closes.
