Help with first pc build

I just built my first pc, not yet finished but have a few problems that have come up.

Specs:

  • Ryzen 9 3900x

  • Deepcool CH160 mini itx case

  • Gigabyte a520i ac motherboard

  • Deepcool Ag400 Digital

  • Asus ROG Strix 1070

  • Kolink regulator 1000w psu

Problems:

  • The Deepcool Ag400 digital has a digital cpu temperature monitor and it has a 10 pin header for the digital screen and I connected it to the F_USB1 header on the motherboard but it does not turn on and show a temperature.

If anyone could help, I would be very grateful.

Dunno what your use case is but I fear the ITX A520 board will go on fire if you push the 3900X to its max 150W+

I dont think ill overclock it and im not running too many cpu taxing applications

Then sell it and get a 5600/5600x, better for a gaming ITX rig 😁

Wow the instruction manual just says plug it in and install the software and that's it!

It sounds you have everything connected correctly, There is a note on the product page "*CPU temperature based on Intel: CPU Package / AMD: CPU Tdie" so it's getting the temp from the driver (It doesn't have it's own sensor).
