Depends of how much money you have to spend. If you plan to overclock go for intel i5 4670k, if not go for Intel i5 4570. Also for motherboard any Asus,Gigabyte, MSI z87 board will work fine

Since this is your first computer and you probably wont overclock. I would personally go for i5 4570 with a descent sub $100 z87 motherboard
