PC randomly freezing

Hello. My PC keeps randomly crashing, I've noticed it usually happens while playing games but can also happen just watching netflix in a browser window. I can get 3 crashes in half an hour or sometimes I can go a full day without any crashes. When it crashes, I can still move my mouse and navigate windows, minimise and maximise windows. For example I can open task manager and it opens fine but it's just blank, or if spotify is open it won't play any music. The PC is still on but is completely locked up and can't do anything until a restart. I haven't changed any hardware in the PC for at least a year and wasn't facing these issues before. I tried completely reinstalling windows as I thought it could be OS issue but that didn't help,  I tried reinstalling windows 4 times. I also did a memtest and that passed. I tried reinstalling windows on another SSD in another m.2 slot. Anybody know what's going on? Any help would be appreciated
