ram: try ti find out

i want to build my first pc for my self i dont have too much information but i will try to choose the best compatible parts.

i have few option i want to know for this pc which one is best to get

1.G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB 32GB(2x16GB) 6400MHz DDR5 CL32 (not NEO version)

2.RAM PATRIOT Viper Xtreme 5 RGB DDR5 32GB (2x16GB) 8000MHz CL38

3.Adata XPG Lancer RGB 32GB Dual 5200MHz CL38

4.TeamGroup T-Force DELTA RGB Black DDR5 32GB Dual 6000MHz CL30 Desktop Ram

each are 2x16(32GB) i want to buy 2 (2x32) in total 64GB ram setup

so can you explain which one is compatible with this setup?

what is the best option for me

about g-skill NEO version i try to find it in my city but its out of stock should i wait unti i find NEO version of gskill i read someware on net NEO are special for AMD cpu thats all info i have

For AM5 / Ryzen 7000 you want to go with 6000Mhz CL30 RAM for best compatability and stability. Its the sweet spot for AM5 🙂

Out of these memory kits I would go with the TeamGroup T-Force DELTA RGB Black 6000Mhz CL30.

You should easily be able to find 2x32GB DDR5 kits.

oh dang i ordered 2 pack with each 2x16 is it not going to work or doing harm to my pc?

As written above we all recommended 2x32GB instead of 4x16GB.

There won't be any harm to your computer but your might not have success running the RAM at 6000Mhz speed ( DDR5 comes at 4800 or 5200Mhz from factory and you must enable RAM EXPO / XMP to make it 6000Mhz )

Due to the limitation on the memory controller, AM5 does not like 4 sticks of RAM at all.

With later BIOS revision on AM5 motherboards we see greater success as most new BIOS revision come with greater RAM stability and compatability.  Highly recommend updating the BIOS of your motherboard.

I am not saying that it won't work but there is much higher chance that it wont work compared to 2 sticks that basically work all the time.

@Dedayog had success with 4 sticks of RAM and made a post about it because its actually not very common

If this was difficult to understand. I can try to explain in simpler terms.

what if i run it on default and not use exo at all because i just play simple game for max 1h

There is definitely a much higher chance to have 4 sticks working without EXPO / XMP than if you set them to 6000Mhz.

We have seen many people being able to run 4 sticks at default speeds 🙂

I can't give you a 100% guarantee of course.

Remember that DDR5 takes a long time to boot / start when you start up your system so dont freak out if nothing happens for a while, this can take up to 3-4 minutes on early BIOS versions because DDR5 memory is training.

everyday its take this much time to boot or only first time after bulding pc?

With 4 sticks it usually takes longer than with 2 sticks.

It really depends on the RAM, Motherboard and other factors.

Updating the BIOS to a later version will definitely help with the boot times 🙂
