So i got a 160gb HDD which is enough storage needed for already 500gb HDD i have, i was just wondering if i have the right cables to put it inside, i have a cable that on one side has MB and on the other serial ATA and the other cable has SATA 6gb/s on both ends, i got a EVGA 600W W1 which i know is a bad psu but hopefully i can connect it with the HDD and it works i am just worried about the other cable which i dont know if it will work and i dont wanna mess things up

There should be 2 cables, one for power and one for data, often both will be L shaped, you just need to find the corresponding cables (one short L port and one long L port) and it sounds like you might have both there, one will come from the PSU, and one from one of the motherboard ports

I'm having a hard time understanding your concern.

As long as you have SATA power to connect to the hard drive, and a SATA data cable to connect between the hard drive and a SATA port on your motherboard, it should be fine.

Unless you're trying to run something like a 3090, there's no reason a 600 watt power supply shouldn't be able to run one additional hard drive.

I sold my soul for ProSupport.

I guess the one with the clip for added security the cable wont fall out? but either will work fine
