I'm looking to buy a motherboard for a new build and I would like to spend no more than £200 (~$340 usd~ / ~365 Canadian Dollars~) at present I am quite unsure as to what motherboard to get? Does anyone have and recommendations? (intel socket) Also I would like at least 4 ram slots, but I would like a quite simple work-station-esk motherboard I dont care for things such as wifi or bluetooth, something practical for gaming? (I did look at the ASUS Z97 WS but its a little expensive and I do not think it is availible in the UK yet (but it had almost everything I wanted), or at least I have been unable to find a seller! Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated as this is my first complete build :D

I'd get something that is in the $150 price range and is compatible with your case, unless you plan on going for some high cpu overclocking.

My #1 rule of PC budgeting, don't spend money because you have the money.

What are your build plans or parts?

I am going to go with the Corsair Graphite 760T, I am going to eventually try to water cool the system, but I may jsut start off with air. I am going with the GTX 780 for graphics. For the power supply I'm hoping to get the be quiet dark power pro (wattage depending on final build ATM its looking around 850). I dont really know what processor to go with, I just know I want to try to avoid AMD (dont ask why or ask me to change). Ram and CPU will probably depend on the motherboard!

The Z97-WS does look within my price range on newegg, is newegg a safe website I have never ordered from it before?

They are one of the best.

Asus fanboy alert

You caught me. :P I would have suggested MSI but he said he liked one of the Asus boards in the intro.

Personally I would go with the Sabertooth. It's a bit cheaper and would suit your need very well. :)
