I am currently in the process of building a new PC and I was wondering if anyone had any GPU reccomendations. I have a budget of around $900-$1200 and have spent $450. I am looking to play games such as BF3, BO2, MW3, etc. Mainly FPS games. My CPU is an AMD FX-8350. Please leave your ideas. Thanks!

7870 or 7950 depending on what your other parts cost.

get the best ATI card you can get up to the 7950 (don't bother spending more on the 7970)

Although you may want to wait till the end of this month to see if the 700 series for nvidia is released, because who knows what the benchmarks will show?

I've got FX 4100, EVO Hyper 212, MSI G46 mobo. So far I've been using OC gene. It gets my FX 4100 to 4.05 ghz. If I use manual overclocking to go higher, what would be a reasonable number to overclock to for 24/7 use?

it really depends on your cpu and the temps you are comfy with, just see what you can get stable and decide from there
