Afterburner file question

No they're not logging, it should just read them in real time and display

I'm sorry if I'm misunderstanding (as I said, I have little experience with Rainmeter and only a bit with Afterburner), but isn't Afterburner measuring temps and speeds and then saving them to a file? That is logging.

 

EDIT: Sorry, I reread the OP. Do you mean that Rainmeter is supposed to be "pulling" data from MSI Afterburner (i.e. MSIAfterburner.dll), but the data isn't being read or displayed correctly?

So I have a rainmeter theme that can monitor GPU temps, fan speed, temp and usage however it uses files to read that stuff. The default is MSIAfterburner.dll but its not working. Idk if its because I'm using Beta 19 or what but if not what ones of these files is related to the things listed above if you follow me.

Afterburner V3.0.0 supports CPU temp monitoring (see below from release notes), so if you can figure out how to edit the rainmeter plugin, it should work the same way. Edit: see second quote.

 

  • Added CPU temperature monitoring (Intel Core 2 and newer Intel CPUs only), CPU usage, RAM usage and pagefile (commit charge) usage graphs to hardware monitoring module
  • Added CPU info to "i" window

 

To monitor CPU temps (from plugin page) just switch GPU to CPU?

 

 

Now you can define any measures from MSI Afterburner. There is a required parameter "DataSource" which specifies which source in Afterburner to query.

Try downloading Afterburner V3.0.0 and pulling CPU temps from it in addition to your other GPU stuff. It'll probably be easier to implement.

Try downloading Afterburner V3.0.0 and pulling CPU temps from it in addition to your other GPU stuff. It'll probably be easier to implement.

Well Afterburner BETA 19 is pulling CPU Temps I just dont know what to do from there

 

 

There is a dll file already in there named advancedcpu.dll however my temp is like 800000

I guess you could try the normal MSIAfterburner.dll, but I can't really help from here without having tried it myself, and I don't have Rainmeter.
