Hey guys,

my PSU is dying after a lightning strike last night that caused a power outage for 4 hours. My computer just shuts down when under load so I'm working on the assumption that the issue is the power supply, as there are no blue screens or crash logs, just BOOM dead.

The thing is I haven't bought a PSU in almost 8 years and have little knowledge of whats currently on the market.

My system is as follows:

CPU
Ryzen 9 5950X

32GB DDR4 3200

Inno3D 4070 Ti x2

Western Digital Black 2TB SSD, Seagate BarraCuda 1TB x2, Crucial 1TB SSD

EVGA Supernova 1000w

Having two of the new GPU connectors would be helpful, even if it means buying it after the fact.

I don't sell systems, generally speaking, I usually give away outdated hardware. Money is a little tight right now, so ideally not a top end model, but not some bottom of the barrel thing either.

Also, NO RGB!

it seems like it's just the name of the GPU, so if you have just one these have good quality but are cheaper and enough wattage:

It is like 95% chance it's just a customer return, they say referb for lots of things in the UK

yeah, but sometimes it's like you take bunch of broken units, but they take the good hardware and combine it to make the PSUs,

but of course could just be used PSU that got refreshed to look new.
