Budget (including currency): $3k (over time, not all at once)

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: last year's (and older) big games - patient gamer. Control, Cyberpunk, NFS Heat, etc

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

See my previous thread here for additional details: (I didn't reply since this is a new build with a PCPP list)

I recently got a AW3225QF (4k 120+ Hz) and now need to upgrade the PC to match (this was planned). I was originally going to buy a GPU and upgrade everything else later but I haven't seen any good deals on GPUs that make sense for my target resolution/refresh rate so I decided to do everything else:

I have an EVGA GTX 1070 that I'll probably keep using for a few months until I see the right deal on a 4080 or above. Most of these items are on sale for prime day (especially the CPU) so I'm probably going to pull the trigger tonight or early tomorrow. I haven't shopped for a computer since before Ryzen was a thing so I would like confirmation that the RAM selection is good for the CPU and I didn't pick a crap motherboard.

Thanks in advance!
