Thermal margin

allright guys i read somewhere that the way to get the most accurate cpu temp for amd is via overdrive with thermal margin and the way to calculate the temp is (max temp)-(thermal margin temp)=current temp
max temp for a10 6800k is 74 but there is a problem :
at hwmonitor i see a value of 54 but my thermal margin is at 31 (at load) so 74-31=43 
what im doing wrong?
