Specs:

4060

PSU: MPG A650GF

CPU: 14700KF

MB: MSI Z690-P DDR4

RAM: 2x16

SSD: M.2 + SATA 3 drives. One each.

Cooled by peerless assasin SE

Recently CPU died and I got it replaced. Now I slotted the new one in and PC won't boot showing white VGA LED when powered on. GPU spins to life when power button pressed along with CPU cooler and case fans. Monitor shows no signal at all. I dont know what to do...

I have tried:

- Reinstalling GPU 5x

- Checking all PSU cables if they are connected well 4x

- Resetting CMOS

- Turning on without any SSDs inserted

- Using both HDMI and display port cables from monitor to GPU

Sounds like you tried a lot of things already!

So your CPU died right? Are you 100% sure that it was the CPU that died, it's possible of course but they are along with RAM one of the least likely to fail from my experience.

In any case, you're trying to use 14700KF on a MSI Z690-P DDR4?
You might need to do a BIOS update from what I'm reading from other people. You are using DDR4 RAM right?

Using DDR4. DRAM LED is not on and I tried booting with each stick individually to see if one is dead but nothing changed

I see, then a BIOS update might be the way to go here
