My current setup is

CPU - Core I3-8100

GPU - RX6600

RAM - 32 GB Corsair DDR4 3200

Monitor - Asus 1080p 60 hz

Storage - 1 TB Crucial P3 NVMe

Motherboard - Gigabyte B360M DS3H LGA 1151 socket

I plan to upgrade here in a week or so I know my cpu is old as well as monitor is crazy old, i picked up rx 6600 from a friend of mines in 2022 for $70, i only play call of duty 90% of the time. My question is should I just upgrade cpu to a 9th gen intel or is it worth it to upgrade cpu & motherboard along with ram to ddr5 and yes I am upgrading monitor to a 240 hz 1440p

I would stick to 1080P with that gpu so that you can have a decent amount of frame rates. One of these in the link.

This allows you to reuse your current RAM.
