PC non responsive

Good evening All, 

 

I have had an ongoing issues where I shut my ps5 off which is connected to my pc via capture card(mk2 4k60). After a few minutes my pc will become nonresponsives and everything will continue to buff like it searching for internet until I force shut off my pc. 

 

I unsure what to do it has been an ongoing issue for many years.

There could be a ton of reasons for this.

 

Your PC specs could be useful here, but my main thought is drivers.

When was the last time you checked for driver updates?

Visit the Elgato website and check that your capture card is running the latest firmware version and drivers.

 

Also go to Windows Device Manager, locate your capture card under the "Universal Serial Bus controllers" or "Sound, video and game controllers" section, right-click on the device, select "Properties," and then go to the "Power Management" tab. Uncheck the box "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" if it is checked

leave on the ps5 then unplug your ps5 from the computer first.

capture card name is needed for more help.

and I hope your running 2 of the same cards !!! 1 for video output and 1 for capture !!!
