Budget & Location

My goal was to build this for around $2000 - $2500 (very little want to go over but was willing to if there was a good reason for it) in the U.S.

Aim

The goal of this PC was to last me a few years and be upgradable and OC-able. The main goal was to do video recording, heavy gaming (new and current gen), and multitasking (Random programs).

Monitors

I already have a 1920X1080p Samsung 23' monitor, but for the graphics card that I wanted and that I would like to use I was informed that I might as well spend the extra money on the 1440p monitor I have listed and use that as my main monitor, using the one I currently hve as a side monitor (I would use both monitors for gaming, one for interent windows and videos, etc)

What I am asking:

Is this build even worth it, am i in over my head, did i spend to much, is there a way to get the same price/performce or better, I am just not sure. I have shown it to several people and they all say it looks solid. I dediced to come ehre and post my very first post asking desperatly before I sell my current PC and pull the trigger on this one. Any and all advice is greatly welcome, call me an idiot, destroy the build, what ever needs to be done.

@SAV1OUR if he does upgrade and get another R9 290X Lightning the psu won't have enough PCIE power cables if he runs 8+8+6 per gpu.

BTW R9 290X has a triple slot cooler design. Might be better to get the Maximus 7 Hero.

mm i have seen people cross fire on a 750w but if needed he can change to a 850w or ever 1000w version
