Budget (including currency): 1000 - 1200AUD

Country: Australia

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Some gaming.  Unity game engine.  Programming.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

Hi all.

I am looking at building my first pc.

I have been using a Dell XPS 9310 Laptop (i5 1135g7, 8GB solder RAM) for a few years and am looking for something with more memory and power.  I though a PC would be a good solution as when I am doing intensive workloads its usually at home.  My laptop can be used when I need to be on the go.

I will have the computer running 2 displays.

In terms of games I don't play too much, but would like to be able to play some new releases like Boulders Gate 3 and Starfield on medium-high settings.

This is the parts list I came up with:

I am not sure where I am overspending/underspending.

I also want to leave room to upgrade the memory, add an additional ssd, and potentially the CPU too.  Not sure if it is worth getting AM5 slot to make this happen.

All help would be appreciated
