NEW PC KEEPS CRASHING

Hello everyone.

I installed NFS Payback on it yesterday and now it just crashes at the same point of the game. Today I installed NFS Heat and that keeps crashing as well. All my drivers and Windows updates are installed. 

I don't know what to do.

And the CPU and GPU temperature is mostly stable on 65 degrees Celsius.

Have you tried updating your BIOS?

Are any parts overheating?

My BIOS is updated.

How can I find out if any of the parts is overheating?

When it crashes, does it bsod with any error code? and when the game crashes, do you mean the game or the whole PC?  If it's the whole PC, when you boot it after, does it give you any code?

Did you also overclock your cpu/gpu/ram? or undervolted them?

No it just jumps out of the game. It doesn't even freeze. Just jumps out.

However when the game is opening the cpu temp goes up to 90 degrees for a second but then it comes down.

Is he cpu cooler mounted correctly?

Strange that it spikes so high launching a game, mine tops out at 70 degrees under full load

Now that I enabled PBO in the BIOS it only goes up to 80 degrees when launching the game, but it never goes higher than 63 degrees in the game.

It only crashes in the game with or without PBO. I thought it might have had something to do with Docp and turned it of, but it crashed even with it disabled.

By crash do you mean the pc restarts / shuts down or the app just closes to desktop?

Okay now that I checked the Cpu package temperature goes up to 83 but the Cpu itself is at 70 when launching the game.

But again, did you do some cpu overclock or undervolting? And does it happen on all games on just specific games? In troubleshooting, you need to isolate the issue.

Quite high for what its doing, but still should not cause an issue

Um.. I didn't do anything to the cpu or any other parts. I only enabled Docp and PBO performance mode in the BIOS.

First Installed NFS Payback, then tried NFS Heat, same story.

There should be some sort of crash report or log in the even viewer, check that and let us know what you find

jumps out of game... that's a CTD.. crash to desktop.. 

 

right click your windows icon and select terminal (admin) and type sfc /scannow

depending on the launcher you use, go and verify integrity of your games.

Okay should I check only the errors that have been categorised as Application Crashing Events?
