I have heard in passing that you can play the Android version. Maybe look into Anbox and Waydroid.

Seems like a good idea, but when i try to start the waydroid session, the error pops up, because i'm using linux mint cinnamon, which uses x11 instead of wayland, do you know how to fix it?

Waydroid requires Wayland, so the only fix is to install and use Wayland, or switch to a distro that has it.

There are apparently apps that let you run a Wayland session inside X11 like written here https://medium.com/@tony.j.miri/android-on-linux-mint-with-waydroid-setup-guide-ff0ca8eab22

He talks about Weston.

The Arch wiki also mentions cage https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Waydroid

Search around I'm sure you're not the first person to be in this situation.

sudo python3 waydroid_extras.py -i
