I have an HP Compaq 6000 and I bought it at a school sale. I enter my product key, and it says admin locked, and it's running windows 10 pro. How Would I Remove the admin if it is not appearing?

P.S. For all of you nerds, here are the specs

HDD with 80 GB

2 GB DDR3 Ram

Windows 10 pro

What says admin locked? Windows when you try to activate it? OEM PCs tend to have the key embedded in the firmware, but that PC is likely to be older than that and I'd be very surprised if it originally shipped with anything newer than Windows 7.

I am assuming there's not a specific software package that you're trying to access, and just windows is needed.

Restart the computer in recovery mode by holding shift when you restart and you can reinstall locally

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

We can't help you break into the existing admin account. Format and do a clean install with Microsoft's install media.

Because it already has Windows 10 installed and running, it shouldn't ask for a product key again after you reinstall.

I sold my soul for ProSupport.
