Shared ram for dedicated gpu

I currently have 4GB of vram on my dedicated GPU (rtx 2050) and was hoping to play a game that requires 6GB of vram. I have 16GB of shared ram allocated to my GPU. Is that going to give me the 2GB more ram needed to run the game or not?

It depends on the game, if it allows you to run it, you might notice degraded performance and texture issues, but if the game has a VRAM check it could just say "nope" and refuse to load.

VRAM is way faster than normal RAM so if that were possible(which it is with AMD gpus + AMD cpus AKA SAM) the performance would not be great.

in some cases the RAM is taken up anyway automatically if you don't have enough VRAM. some of the RAM is taken to offset it.  Though it won't be as fast and might get some texture issues, but if you play on Low and all that jazz you shouldn't get too much bad stutters or drops in FPS just really crummy textures.
