Hotspot temps

I have a 3080ftw3 ultra , it’s a mild overclock +1000 memory 100core 105 power limit (380-400watts) My gpu temps are fine like 75c with stock fan curve but my hotspot is around 90-95 is it normal?

If i apply a more aggressive curve the drop to 85ish

yes that's fine. If the pc isn't crashing then it should be fine. It's normal for hotspots to be warmer than the core average, even by 15 degrees

Yes, especially with an overclock

Those are safe hotspot temperatures.

Btw it won’t show this temp on ICX it’s only on hwinfo and hwinfo says this temperature is unconfirmed, icx shows 2 gpu temps one at 73 and one at 66

HWinfo is more indepth than ICX.  Both @filpo and I have said its fine.
You have nothing to worry about.

Hotspots can reach up to 110-115c on certain cards.

90-95c on an overclocked 3080 is not bad at all, the higher end 3000 series are known to run very warm.

Your card is broken and you should replace immediately...
