I have been saving a long time to build the PC of my dreams, and did my research on what I thought would last me the next 7-10 years.   As this is my first build and first PC of my own, I felt as I invested a lot to of time money and pure excitement to build this into a beast that should overpower any game out now.  My build took place in July and she ran like a beauty, with the most intensive games like Cyberpunk and Cod fully maxed out, not to drop even a frame.  Then my friends and I began to play Palworld dedicated server, which I hosted with my new PC around 3 weeks ago.  I would have to leave my PC on basically all the time so anyone could have access to the server as we all work different shifts, and I had no issues until just this week.  I got calls that the server was closed.  No problem, boot it back up, only for it to close after 10 mins of gameplay.  Forums state the game is in alpha and certain things could cause this game to crash out.  Ok we lost our gameplay and cant play this server anymore, let’s play something else.  Load up Rust, played 200+ hours with no issues, crashes after 10 mins of playing.  After checking task manager I notice my Ram usage is up to 25GB/32GB used while playing rust.  This was never the case before, I would be around 12GB used but never 25GB.  Even after closing the games I still have 9GB used on my RAM.  Bad RAM stick? Ran Memtest86  with no faults.  Then I notice my SSD drive is using 100% in the performance tab of task manager?  Rust isnt even on the SSD.  So I disconnect it thinking it could be causing issues, with no luck, every games still crashing.  GPU has not shown any issues besides the occasional spike and CPU usage stays around 40-80% which is expected, but I am now at a loss on how to fix the issues.  I updated all drivers for GPU,CPU,SSD and the BIOS for my MB.  I have ran a few commands such as Windows Diagnostic tool and nothing to point me towards the cause.  I want to cry, this is why I have only owned a Xbox my whole life.  I have literally saved so much money for this thing and I dont know how to fix it.   It was running so smooth the past 6 months or so, and I need help.

Windows allocates ram even when its not using it. That's probably what's happening with the ram.

Have you tried updating all your drivers?

Check your temperatures as well.

Try running heaven benchmark. And see if it crashes

Yeah I’ve updated all my drivers… ran heaven and it crashed immediately.  I’m gonna reinstall windows as that’s what seems to be consensus.
