Mobo drivers not working

i am reinstalling windows and the lan drivers and bluetooth drivers on my b650e-f strix mobo dont work they give a yellow icon on device manager, what can i do other than download armoury crate because i really dont want to, ive had many issues with it before so any other solution? like for example where does asus get the drivers that work from? armoury crate seems to somehow find them

You can check on the website of the manufacturer of the device instead of Asus.

If you don't want to use armoury crate you can download them from this page here and install them manually one at a time. Make sure you do chipset and audio too.

these drivers dont work, the ones on their website they just dont work. i just run the asus installer and it gives me yellow icon in device manager

Not Asus. I meant the manufacturer of the LAN, or of the wireless/bluetooth.

Either there is an issue elsewhere(you have given the wrong make and model board) or you are not installing them properly. There should be no reason other than that they wouldn't work.

 

 You can try ven-deving each specific device and searching for the device specific drivers, but getting the drivers from ASUS' website should be the same thing.

One possibility, I've noticed that a few of Asus recent boards have an option where they use multiple LAN devices and bluetooth/wireless for the same motherboard, but the support page for this motherboard only has one driver.

im certain i got the model and make right

i fixed it, i reinstalled windows but before doing so i reset bios and changed Armour crate installation to disabled, i always had a feeling it was the problem
