window security scanner stuck

everytime I use window security scanner at some point in full system scan or more specific c: it would get stuck never finish even if I left it over night it never finish still stuck in same place. any idea what I should do or do I have to format drive or worse pull out drive and get fresh drive?

I have have had the same issue. I have not found a solution.

figure it out just have to do alot of scanning with custom scan until you narrow it down to specific drive then specific folder. once find out which one start cleaning out stuff you don't care for and repeat until it doesn't get stuck on custom scan on that drive and full system scan
