PSU strength concerns

Hey folks- I just upgraded my GPU from a 5700xt to 7800xt hellhound. I’m running a Ryzen 9 3900, 32gb RAM, several m.2 drives, and using a Corsair RM750x.  According to the manufacturer the model of 7800xt requires a minimum of 750w.  I’ve put my configuration through some stress tests, cyberpunk with full ray tracing and etc., and it seems to perform well, hasn’t shut off or rebooted from any power draw issues. My question is, aside from any obvious issues not popping up so far, are there any side effects or hidden issues that could spring up by running the minimum required PSU?  Is it placing an unnecessary load on any components or causing wear and tear on anything by just cruising at the minimum?  Would my PC benefit from jumping up a little higher for better headroom?  Thanks for any advice!

They always overestimate the PSU in the manufacturers recommended PSU.  The RM750x is plenty for your setup.

The 7800 XT only draws 263w at 100% load. 🙂  I use an RM750i with my 4080 that draws 350w ( overclocked ) without any issues.

The RMx/RMi series from Corsair are also very reliable and high quality units.
We could both run our systems with an RM650x without worry 🙂

Nothing to worry about, continue gaming👍👍
