PSU noise

My PSU started making this noise and I dont know why

I've boosted my headphones to max and honestly still can't hear anything.

After enough power to my speakers to the point the Windows ding could wake up the whole neighbourhood...

 

It's a consistent knocking noise and the only moving part in the PSU is the fan. So that would be the source of the noise. Should you do anything about it? Not necessary unless the fan stops spinning entirely.

Sounds like fan touching something, protective grill might be bent or some wire inside/outside PSU became loose. You can unscrew the psu from the case without disconnecting the wires and check your psu. If everything is ok you can try powering it on and look and listen for failing fan noise, because sometimes fans go bad and cause rattling.
