Recently got the RTX 4060Ti 16gb it seems like an overkill for my setup but got a good deal. Seems like it is bottlenecking my CPU so can't use it at its fullest.

I am thinking that I might upgrade the CPU but trying to avoid spending to much. If I get current gen CPU I will need a new motherboard, DDR5 and cooling as well, and probably a new case. That sounds like building a new pc 🙂

With my current motherboard I could go 10th or 11th Gen Intel but not sure if it would worth the upgrade.

My current CPU's tdp is 65w so not sure how much more my cpu cooling could handle.

I am happy to buy used CPU, there are some on the market and also happy to invest in a new cooler, but my PC case is very limited on space, I would need a compact but very efficient cooler.

I would really appreciate your thoughts and recommendations

I am targeting 1080p in some cases 1440p and happy with stable 60fps.

Thank you so much!

Use it as is and skip upgrading for couple more generations. Then build an entirely new machine.
