is it ok to set pump speed to max speed in bios? would that harm the cooler or the CPU? also im sorry probably a noob question the circular block on the cpu the cable that comes out of it is the cable for the pump? im asking incase i want to change pump speed i need to know which one to change. Thanks in advance

Some AIO's have the pump cable elsewhere but most AIO's have the pump cable coming out of the pump. Plug that in to the PUMP header on the motherboard 🙂
Running the pump at 100% is its intended usecase but its rarely needed. Try a constant 70% pump speed to see if that works 🙂

AIO Pumps prefer to stay at a constant speed instead of fluctuating as this causes more wear on the pump motor than a constant speed.

there are 2, cpu fan and cpu opt, when i increase the cpu fan to max speed the fans ramp up obviously but also the L/M flow rate increases, while the cpu opt which is where the cable coming out of the pump is connected to, when i increase it i dont hear any fans ramp up but the L/M flow rate increases, does this mean the pump works on both ports?

Definitely do sound like that! 🙂 I wouldn't worry about it at all as long as your CPU temperatures are good and the noise level is acceptable.  Keep adjusting until you find the sweet spot for you.

I always try to keep the fans as high as I can without it being audible for me while I do normal web browsing.
And have a slightly higher fan curve for when my parts warm up during gaming, but again without being bothersome.

What is your AIO and CPU?

It works on both headers.

What motherboard are you using?

There are headers on there that marked as SYS_FAN_PUMP to the right of the motherboard if you want to use those. However, I don't think you'll need to use them.

Are your pump and fans tied to the same header?

im not sure tbh i wasnt the one who built the pc unfortunately, however both are separately connected, one is connected to cpu opt and one to cpu fan
