Trouble playing GTA V

The_Jonkler

I’ve never had this problem before but GTA v seems to crash after about 20 minutes of playing I’ve looks at the error codes and it says a lot of ‘memory errors’ and ‘corrupt game data errors’ anyone know what this could mean? It runs absolutely fine before it crashes (50-60fps) I do have visualV installed but I don’t think that should’ve been a problem, any help is welcome

My Specs:

CPU- i7 4770

GPU- RX 6400

RAM- 16GB (4x4GB)

PSU- 188w Dell thing bronze

PC- Dell Optiplex 9020

does it crash without visualv running? That is a complete graphics overhaul mod, so your assumption that it won't have an effect is likely misguided.

what are the actual errors?

are you playing it through steam? if so have you tried the 'verify integrity' tool that steam has to fix corrupted files?

what troubleshooting steps have you attempted so far?

if you are getting memory errors, have you checked your available memory? (are you running out)

remove variables (mods, other running programs, etc) and see if it crashes, if it doesn't, then add those variables back in one at a time, and do a full test (play the game for atleast 1.5x the time it was taking to crash before) to see which thing is causing the error.

Also, post error logs.
