need PSU suggestion for i5 12400, rtx 3070 within 50$ to 55$

M_Ridwan

My system is i5 12400, 16gb ram, RTX 3070.

Currently using 600 watt PSU Mode: AIGO GT 600 which is already 5 years old. Never had any issue with the PSU (https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/aigo-GT-600-Full-modular-High_60780329861.html)
However, my friends are suggesting me to get a new PSU for my system. I don't have any plan to upgrade my GPU for the next 2/3 years.

So, I have short listed some PSUs:
1. Corsair CV 650
2. Antec CSK 650

3. FSP Hydro k pro 750 (https://www.fsplifestyle.com/en/product/HydroKPRO750W.html)

N.B: I am leaning more towards the FSP one because of the price difference.

No, with a RTX 3070 you don't want any of these PSUs. They're all double forward on the primary side and some lack a few essential protections. You need a Tier A or B https://cultists.network/140/psu-tier-list/ Maybe look at the used market for a Seasonic Focus or Corsair RMx with a few years of warranty left.

Yeah in this case just take FSP Hydro k pro 750, seems fine to me.

Not. 230vO input and lacks OTP. Of those three units the Corsair CV650 is best. It has a full range input and a full set of protections but it's still double forward.

right now RMx isn't available anywhere in our country. is Corsair Rm 750 a good option? the price gap of Rm 650 and Rm 750 is around 2k. Which one do you suggest?
