Whenever I turn my computer on, the bottom quarter of my monitor looks like it is broken. Lines across the bottom and whatnot. However, it goes away after a minute or two. It went away as I typed this, so l couldn't get a picture. I'll edit this post later to show a pic.

The weird thing is that I just was messing with it, and if I change my project settings to duplicate, the lines go away, and it looks normal. Then, I go back to extend or primary monitor, and the lines return.

So, what I thought was a problem with my monitor may be more software-related. Has anyone ever heard of this? I also tried changing the output to 1080, which is what my second monitor runs at, and that didn't help

edit: I attached a video of the screen doing its thing and then me switching to a different project setting and it magically going away

Try replacing the display cable for it and see if that may be your issue. Bad cables can sometimes cause glitching like this, and is usually the first thing you can try to diagnose your problem.
