Posted December 20, 2023 Hi, I'm in the process of building a new set. I'm building it on the ASUS ROG STRIX B550-A GAMING board. I need to connect 9 argb fans. I equipped myself with a cable separating into two argb connectors. I want to connect two argb/pwm hubs with sata power connectors to it. Is this supposed to work or will I damage anything by doing so? Help!!! ( Sorry for my English )
 Posted December 20, 2023 If the ARGB is powered from the hub, then yes you can control it from a single header. If you are trying to power 9 devices from a single header, NO that is probably not a good idea.
 How can I be sure that the sata power connected to the hub also powers the argb inputs, and not only the pwm?
 Don't even know what your hub is to start searching for info. If you just want to know whether the SATA input provides power to the ARGB header as well, just try using multimeter to measure continuity or voltage from the 5v pin on the SATA to the 5v pin on ARGB header.
