Hi I have just built my PC and now trying to install windows 11. I purchased a copy of windows with a USB stick. Go into the bios to select the USB key as my boot option, but when I restart it keeps taking me back into the bios. Can anyone advice what I am doing wrong.

Try setting "UEFI USB Key" as the top priority. If your motherboard has a one-time boot menu hotkey, try mashing that on boot so you can manually select the drive.

Also try plugging the drive directly into one of the ports on the motherboard's back IO instead of a case port. That eliminates one more variable.

You can always try making your own drive anyway, using Microsoft's Media Creation Tool. Your license will work as long as you install the same edition you bought.

I sold my soul for ProSupport.
