What encryption software to use?

I have been messing around with veracrypt and it can use a yubikey sorta but it's not the best setup. Veracrypt is a bit overkill for a few files that i want to encrypt.

 

The other big downside to veracrypt for me is i use two unraid servers one at my house and the other at my dads home and they sync with each other once a week. The software that syncs the two does not see the changes in the veracrypt volume since the size does not change.

If you are familiar with the command line, I recommend GnuPG. It can encrypt individual files, and it will probably work with your 2 unraid servers.

you can download it here.

If you're using Windows, download the option for current GnuPG, non-gpg4win
