My current PC is screwed up in terms of it probably has a few viruses on it. Also it is old like very old. I am almost done buying all the parts for my new build. My current windows is most likely corrupted in some way, if I reuse my windows product key on my new PC will it still be corrupted or is it only the windows media on my current PC and the product key is still useable?

It will be a completely fresh install of Windows 🙂  The product key is only to activate the windows install on the new machine.
No viruses will transfer over, completely safe.

Just make sure you have a Retail windows key as this can be transfered to a new computer.

If its an OEM key it will be tied to your current PC and can't be used again.
