High temperature cpu I need help

Hello everyone, I have a problem, my motherboard has a CPU sensor, when I open a game the sensor has a reading of 64º but the Ryzen CPU sensor is above 80º, and the CPU fan only recognizes the motherboard sensor and it does not increase the speed, it has reached 95º but the sensor that is built into the motherboard continues to read the temperatures incorrectly, I am currently using a program called Fan Control to link the CPU fan with the sensor of the Ryzen but I would like the board to do it automatically, as it should do. Please I need help

Motherboard: B550 Phantom Gaming 4
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600X
16GB DDR4 3200mhz

Is using fancontrol to decide the sensor the fan runs off, the fan curve and therefore fan speed an issue?

Also HWinfo can sometimes have an issue where if another programme is running and displaying sensors, HWinfo will be slow to update, therefore CPU temp readings could be right, but not updating quick enough to catch a quick jump in temps?

System specs:

CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D [-30 PBO all core]

GPU: Sapphire AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX NITRO+

Motherboard: MSI MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI

RAM: G.Skill Trident Z5 NEO RGB 32GB 6000MHz CL32 DDR5

Storage: 2TB SN850X, 1TB SN850 w/ heatsink, 500GB P5 Plus (OS Storage)

Case: 5000D AIRFLOW

Cooler: Thermalright Frost Commander 140

PSU: Corsair RM850e

Case Fans: Fractal Prisma (120 x6, 140 x3) + 2x40mm fans

What cooler are you using?

Is the CPU cooler fan plugged into the CPU fan header?

Did you remember to peel the plastic off the heatsink when you installed it? 😉

I am using the stock fan, yes, i plug it into the CPU_FAN1 and when i mount it, i put some thermal paste on it, that my friend gave me, an artic mx-5.

No, I am using a software called FanControl to be able to manage the cpu fan speeds at the moment, because if I close it, the processor reaches 92º and the fan does not accelerate the rpm.

Turn on the minimise on close option in fan control, then it'll stay active even when closed and the app is idling

What is the temperature source that is chosen in the BIOS to automatically control the CPU_FAN 1 header?

What other options do you have?
