so i was looking at the bios on an amd apu and i see drop in voltage every 2 seconds or so witch goes as much as .12 volts (1.440-> 1.320)

so.. is this perfectly normal?

It's called Vdrop. It's perfectly normal.

Have you set your voltage manually? If you haven't touched your BIOS settings it's most likely set to "AUTO" which is BAD. This means the motherboard automatically adjusts the voltage according to how much your motherboard thinks your CPU needs.

I dont care much..Should i? i mean this pc is going to be used for Internet and some light programs...well i have nothing to loose..except for some more heat witch in summer with the stock heat sink is going to smell metal but that how a 50$ amd works isn't it?

Well if you value the longevity of your CPU then you should. When your system is idling you could be looking at really high voltages because the BIOS setting is set to auto, causing unnecessarily high temps and wear on your CPU for no reason. You should download a CPU stress program like "OCCT" and a CPU monitoring program like "CPU-Z". Run OCCT CPU stress test while you have CPU-Z monitoring open and momorize the voltages that CPU-Z is reading while your CPU is under stress testing/load. Then you could compare your voltages to other people with the same CPU as you and mabye try to set your voltage manually for reduced heat and wear.
