Hi

Is this NVidia High Definition Audio, that I have in my new PC with RTX4060, something that I can benefit from with my current setup ?

At the moment I use the Realtech Usb Audio on my motherboard and the line out from the motherboard, which I send to my Denon Dra-295 using the CD in (Picture of its back below) .
Anybody know if I have better options then what I use now, I don't play games, I just listen to music and youtube.
P.s. I'm 65, so hearing is not as it was.🙃

it's literally just a built in soundcard on the gpu that sends sound through the monitors video ports (hdmi/display port)

if your machine already has a sound card/device then you won't see/hear much of any difference from the nvidia one.

Yeah, with that older receiver there is nothing that can be done, it doesn't have HDMI. Theoretically if you wanted to pass high bitrate digital audio streams from a Bluray you'd want to use HDMI but that's not possible here anyway so don't worry about it.
