Thermaltake Gf3 vs Gf1

Nay-Nay9

I want to pick up a new PSU for Black Friday and I'm looking at the thermal take gf3 or the gf1. I plan to go for either the 850w or the 1000w, but I haven't decided yet. I was thinking the gf3 would be a better option because it's only $20 more and gives me multi rail and atx 3.0, but now I'm not sure. I read that multi rail isn't actually that much better and $20 bucks for a new connector doesn't seems like it might not be worth it.

I also want to make sure that this is a fairly future proofed psu that will last me forever(hopefully), and is 850w enough for that or should I bump up to the 1000w.

Finally, are there any other psus that would be a better option, hopedully in the low $100 price range.

850w is defo enough

BUT, note that GF3 is only B tier on the psu tier list whereas GF1 is A tier

I always say 1000w because 'upgrades, people, upgrades' but it's really your choice. What's your system specs?
