I have posted a few times, so I'm thankful for everyone's help so far. I have a new plan, so I wanted to gather feedback if any of it is a good idea. I originally started with wanting to upgrade my GPU, but it turns out I really need to upgrade my PSU unit as well. The plan is to upgrade my GPU and PSU now, and probably upgrade the MB, RAM and CPU and a later date. It would be nice to take advantage of any black friday GPU deals that may be out there.

For the GPU I was leaning towards a 6800 or 6800xt (if I could find a good price). The 6800xt seems to be sitting around $100 more right now. Is that worth it? Would either of these be a good options? I'm open to other models as well and if you could link the exact deal, I would really appreciate it.

Finally I was look at this PSU; Corsair RM850e (2023) 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power. I wanted to get something decent that can last a long time. Is this a good choice? Again, I'm open to suggestions on this as well.

Does any of this sound like a good idea? Any problems or issues that I might be missing?

Thanks again for all your help. I'm open to any advice or suggestions, especially on different parts.

rx 7800 xt is same price as 6800 xt in newegg.ca, I would go for 7800 xt, but as you said it's 100 over budget

So if I willing to go more, then 7800xt is better than and 6800 xt at the same price?

Sorry it's hard to keep up with the GPU power hierarchy.
