Hi all, I am encountering a strange error when installing a fresh build of VMware ESXI 8.0.2, its a brand new server with no VM's being hosted. (Server: DL380 G10, writing to a 300GB RAID 1 array for the hypervisor)

 

After installing, on boot we briefly see this plugin activation failure: "Jumpstart plugin restore-security-policies activation failed" (Please see image attached). Some web surfing mentions a TPM issue, but we have not been able to find anything concrete. Logs from VMware host site provides the following:

Don't know about VMware but you might try proxmox.

My Main rig: i7-4790, Asus z97c, Radeon HD 7850 (2gig), Fractal Design Focus G.

My Laptop: Dell Latitude e5410, Tiny 11, 8gb ram, i5-450m 120 gig SSD.
